Informed American sources told "MTV" that the recent Israeli operation is part of a strategy aimed at cutting supply lines linking the Bekaa to the south, considering that these networks constitute a key element in Hezbollah's ability to move and reorganize its capabilities.

The sources added that the focus is on the area extending from Shaqif Castle to Jezzine, due to its geographical location linking the south to the Bekaa and the coast, noting that control over this area could impose a new field reality.

They also pointed out that the message directed to Beirut is no less important than the message directed to the party, explaining that Washington sees that the discussion is no longer limited to a ceasefire or managing escalation, but has become linked to the Lebanese state's ability to control security and sovereignty files.
