Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya wrote on the "X" platform: "Intelligence information that has reached us now reveals that Hezbollah took over the government hospital in the town of Tebnine in southern Lebanon during the war. Hezbollah suffered large numbers of dead and wounded during the war, and transported them to the hospital after seizing it, which deprived the residents of Lebanon from receiving necessary medical services. After the wounded elements arrived at the hospital, ambulances belonging to the 'Islamic Health Authority' evacuated them to the 'Al-Rasoul Al-Azam' hospital located in the southern suburb of Beirut and under Hezbollah's control."

She added: "This is not the first time we have revealed Hezbollah's exploitation of Lebanese medical and government infrastructure to serve its terrorist military needs and advance Iran's interests, at the expense of the needs and interests of the residents of Lebanon. The examples being revealed now once again show the cynical exploitation that Hezbollah practices of medical facilities during the war. O residents of Lebanon, do not be deceived; Hezbollah's seizure of hospitals and its exploitation of medical infrastructure endangers your lives, prevents or delays your access to treatment and medical care during the war, and may deprive you of obtaining medical assistance even in the future."

She concluded: "To Hezbollah elements who continue to hide under patients' beds inside civilian hospitals belonging to the Lebanese state: If you think you are protected there, know that you are not immune from targeting. The Israeli army will continue to operate wherever operational necessity requires, with the aim of protecting the security of the residents of the north and the citizens of Israel."
