2 Kilometers Long... Details Revealed by Israeli Army About Ali al-Taher Tunnels

The IDF spokesperson, Ila Vayou, stated that the army has completed destroying underground passages in the Ali al-Taher highlands, after forces recently achieved operational control over the highland area both above and below ground.

She added, "After prolonged preparatory activity, the 36th Brigade destroyed underground passages in the Ali al-Taher highlands, located within the security zone, to permanently neutralize Hezbollah's ability to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and military forces using these infrastructure networks. The destroyed underground structures spanned more than two kilometers. Inside these underground facilities, dozens of rockets, rocket projectiles, Iranian-made drones, machine guns, tens of anti-tank missiles, and hundreds of mines and explosive devices were discovered."

She continued, "As previously reported last week, a central command complex belonging to the 'Badr' unit was found inside the underground infrastructure, featuring command and control rooms, weapon storage areas, and living quarters that enabled operatives to manage combat operations and remain on-site for extended periods. This strategic infrastructure was built over two decades and funded and planned by the Iranian terrorist regime."
