Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated that "Hezbollah dragged Lebanon into a war for Iranian interests, and it occupies Lebanon, undermines its sovereignty, and exposes its citizens to harm."
He added: "We will not allow Hezbollah to implement its plan, and our operations in Lebanon are defensive, and Israel has no ambitions to expand into Lebanon."
