Italian Foreign Minister Reaffirms Support for Lebanon-Israel Ceasefire in Call
Lebanese Foreign Minister Yusuf Raji received a call from Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani affirming Rome's backing of the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire and state institutions.

Lebanese Foreign Minister and Expatriates Yusuf Raji received a telephone call from his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, who reaffirmed Rome's steadfast support for the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, as well as continued backing for Lebanese state institutions and the Lebanese army.
Tajani emphasized that maintaining the ceasefire requires Hezbollah to halt its military operations against Israel and comply with decisions made by the Lebanese government. At the same time, he called on Israel to exercise restraint and refrain from any military escalation.
The Lebanese Foreign Minister expressed Lebanon's appreciation for Italy's supportive stance towards Lebanon and its legitimate government. He reiterated to the Italian Foreign Minister that the diplomatic path remains the only means capable of achieving lasting and sustainable peace.
