Kafr Shuba Municipality Clarifies Details on Two Youths Reported Kidnapped by Israeli Army
Kafr Shuba Municipality issued a statement clarifying the situation regarding two youths reportedly kidnapped by the Israeli army while servicing the town's water pump generator.

The municipality of Kafr Shuba released a statement addressing the report from the Israeli army about the abduction of two young men. The statement read:
"Kafr Shuba Municipality wishes to clarify the matter concerning the two youths reportedly kidnapped today, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Hajj and Mr. Ahmed Salah Diab. One of the youths is a member of the Kafr Shuba Municipality, while the other is an employee there. Both travel daily to the area to operate the electricity generator designated for pumping water to the town of Kafr Shuba."
The statement added that the well where they work is not located within the so-called 'yellow zone' and that no military areas are nearby. The municipality emphasized that the two youths had no intention of approaching Israeli forces and were unaware of their presence in the area. It further stated that Israeli forces had previously fired shots at the well, damaging the previous generator and also hitting the electrical transformer there.
Additionally, two days ago, the locks on the electricity room and pump room were forcibly removed.
The municipality condemned this hostile act against the two innocent youths who were performing humanitarian service for the residents and called for their return to the town."
