Lebanese Army Commander Commends German Military Support

Lebanese Army Commander General Rudolf Hikal hosted Major General Alexander Sollfrank, Commander of the German Joint Forces, at his office in Yarze. The delegation accompanying Sollfrank engaged in discussions covering general conditions and current developments, as well as Germany’s role within the naval component following the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

The talks specifically addressed Germany’s responsibilities and contributions to the naval force after UNIFIL’s mandate phase.

Strengthening Bilateral Army Ties

Hikal conveyed his appreciation for the support provided by the German Army and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two armed forces.
