Lebanese General Security Extends Facilitation for Syrian and Palestinian Refugees Until July 2026

The General Directorate of General Security announced an extension of the additional facilitation measures granted to Syrian nationals and Palestinian refugees residing in Syria. This applies whether they entered Lebanon legally or illegally and regardless of the duration of their violation. Those wishing to depart through land border centers can do so without paying any fees or fines and without being subjected to entry ban notices. This extension is valid until July 30, 2026, and is considered the final extension.

It is important to note that after this deadline, authorities will strictly enforce the existing laws and regulations concerning all residents who are non-Lebanese and residing illegally in Lebanon.
