Lebanon Proposes Expanding Trial Zones and Property Searches with Judicial Warrants

On Monday evening, it was reported that Lebanon will seek judicial warrants to authorize the Lebanese army to enter and search private properties within the trial zones located in southern Lebanon.

The report also revealed that discussions are scheduled for next Thursday, involving the commander of the US Central Command, to determine the new trial zones in Lebanon.

Furthermore, the Lebanese side intends to propose that the new trial zones include Eastern Zoutar, Arnon—covering the Shaqif Castle—Kfartabnit, and Yahmor. Additionally, Lebanon will suggest that Israel withdraw from the Bayada area to Naqoura in the western sector.
