The Israeli army carried out very massive explosions at midnight in the areas of Yahmar al-Shaqif, Arnoun, and Kafartibnit, whose echoes resounded enormously and unprecedentedly in all southern regions, and their reverberations reached the districts of Iqlim al-Kharrub and Khaldeh.

In Marjeyoun, the National News Agency reported that "the violent explosions witnessed by the Shaqif Castle area led to the shattering of glass in a number of house windows in the town of Qlaia, due to the force of the explosions and the tremors felt by residents in various parts of the region."

The explosions also caused damage to some homes, while residents pointed out that "the roar of the explosions was severe, accompanied by a strong shockwave that shook the town, in addition to the smell of gunpowder spreading in the air."
