Minister of Agriculture Nizar Hani sent a letter of appreciation to Public Prosecutor Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, recognizing the efforts of the Financial Prosecution and the Financial Crimes Investigation Office in supporting agricultural oversight and legal enforcement.

Minister of Agriculture Nizar Hani sent a letter of appreciation and thanks to the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, "in recognition of the efforts made by the Financial Prosecution and the Financial Crimes Investigation Office, and the ongoing judicial and institutional cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, particularly regarding inspection and oversight activities at dairy and cheese factories, as well as enforcement of applicable laws and regulations."
He praised "the readiness and cooperation demonstrated by the Financial Prosecution in recent periods, and its role in keeping pace with the work of the Ministry of Agriculture and strengthening the implementation of current laws and decisions, which contributes to reinforcing oversight, protecting the public interest, and supporting procedural integrity," noting "the efforts and follow-up carried out by Judge Maher Shuaito, whom he appreciated for his serious cooperation, commitment to law enforcement, and ensuring smooth procedures, which contributed to enhancing the effectiveness of coordination and joint work between judicial bodies and the Ministry of Agriculture."
Similarly, the Ministry of Agriculture expressed "its appreciation for the role played by the Financial Crimes Investigation Office, represented by its head Colonel Khalid Abdul Baqi, and the efforts of investigation officers Muhammad Zaytir, Fadi Boukroum, and Zaher Bouali, during the execution of inspections, coordination, and collaboration with the technical inspection team affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture."
On this occasion, Hani emphasized that "cooperation between judicial institutions, supervisory bodies, and technical administrations constitutes a fundamental pillar in enforcing laws, safeguarding food safety, and strengthening public trust in official oversight," underscoring "the importance of integration between the technical expertise of the Ministry of Agriculture and the judicial and security roles in addressing violations and taking appropriate legal actions."
This acknowledgment comes within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture's commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation with all relevant parties and establishing an integrated approach to oversight in agricultural and food sectors, ensuring compliance with legal and technical standards, protecting consumer health, supporting compliant producers, and advancing the public good.
Minister Hani concluded by extending thanks and appreciation to all judges and personnel involved in these efforts, wishing them "continued success in carrying out their duties and serving the nation and the public interest."
