Issued by the General Directorate of State Security – Media, Guidance, and Public Relations Division, the following statement: "Within the framework of ongoing efforts to combat forgery in public institutions and administrations, the Mount Lebanon Regional Directorate arrested a citizen in the Metn Real Estate Departments building on 12/5/2026, after suspicion arose regarding two ownership deeds in his possession whose legality and authenticity were questionable. Upon investigation, it turned out that he had received the two deeds from the Lebanese citizen S. Kh.

Based on the指示 of the competent judiciary, the aforementioned individual was summoned and interrogated, where he confessed to photographing two ownership deeds ("green deed") using color images and handing them over to the concerned party with the aim of fraud and deluding them into believing they were valid official documents, in preparation for their use in real estate transactions.

He was arrested, and along with the seized items, was referred to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal action against him."
