Following the conclusion of the Cabinet meeting held at the government palace, Minister of Information Paul Marcus announced that the government approved the Ministry of Public Works' request to grant regular air transport licenses at Al-Qlayaat Airport. Additionally, the government approved the signing of three agreements between Morocco and Lebanon concerning criminal matters and the extradition of wanted individuals. The Cabinet also endorsed the Ministry of Interior’s proposal addressing cracked buildings in Tripoli, including provisions for housing support and the establishment of a fund to achieve this goal.
The Council also ratified a series of appointments during the session.
Responding to a question, Minister Marcus stated that the framework agreement has not yet matured due to ongoing negotiations. He indicated that the agreement will be presented to constitutional institutions, particularly the Cabinet, but emphasized that the stage of final agreement has not yet been reached.
