Minister of Industry Joe Issa El-Khoury issued Decision No. 29/1, stipulating the exceptional extension of deadlines for industrial certificates and industrial statements issued by the Ministry of Industry, whose validity expires during the first nine months of 2026, until September 30, 2026 inclusive.
The decision stated:
The Minister of Industry,
Based on Decree No. 53 dated 8/2/2025, corrected by Decree No. 278 dated 7/5/2025 (formation of the government),
Based on Legislative Decree No. 111 dated 12/6/1959 (organization of public administrations) and its amendments,
Based on Legislative Decree No. 112 dated 12/6/1959 (staff regulations) and its amendments,
Based on Law No. 642 dated 2/6/1997 (establishment of the Ministry of Industry) and its amendments,
Based on Decree No. 13173 dated 8/10/1998 (organization of the Ministry of Industry, determination of its staff, and special appointment conditions for some of its positions) and its amendments,
And in view of the security and social conditions the country is experiencing, and out of concern for the proper functioning of all industrial sectors,
And with reference to Decision No. 19/1 dated 6/3/2026 issued by the Minister of Industry (extension of deadlines for industrial certificates and industrial statements),
Based on the proposal of the Director General of the Ministry of Industry,
Decides the following:
"Article One: Deadlines are exceptionally extended for industrial certificates and industrial statements issued by the Ministry of Industry whose validity expires during the first nine months of 2026 until September 30, 2026 inclusive.
Article Two: This decision shall be communicated wherever necessary and shall be enforced immediately upon its issuance."
