The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned "in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted worshippers at Hamoud Church in Karak Governorate in the sister Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries."

In a statement, the Ministry extended its warmest condolences to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, its leadership, government, and people, as well as to the families of the victims. It wished a speedy recovery for the injured, reiterating its "firm rejection and condemnation of all forms of terrorism and violence, particularly the targeting of civilians and places of worship, given that these criminal acts constitute a blatant violation of legal and humanitarian principles, and an assault on the right to life and freedom of religious practice."

The Ministry also affirmed the "necessity of enhancing international cooperation and combining joint efforts to combat terrorism and confront it in all its forms and manifestations," declaring its "confidence in the cohesion of the brotherly Jordanian people and their ability to thwart attempts to sow discord and division among their components, which have long been distinguished by values of coexistence and tolerance."
