Postponement of Official Examinations for Free Students in General Education Secondary and High School Certificates
The Ministry of Education announced the postponement of official exams for free students in secondary and high school general education certificates due to a state council ruling. A new exam date will be determined based on future decisions.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced in a statement that, in implementation of the decision issued today, August 24, 2026, by the Council of State (Case No. 27121/2026), which ruled to suspend the enforcement of General Director of Education Circular No. 61/2026, it has been decided to postpone the official examinations for free students in general education at the secondary and high school levels, including its four branches, to a date to be determined later.
The ministry clarified that the new date will be discussed in light of the Council of State's decision or any legislation that may be issued by the Parliament regarding this matter.
