President Joseph Aoun praised the Internal Security Forces on their anniversary, emphasizing the importance of the rule of law and the absence of militias in Lebanon.

President Joseph Aoun extended his congratulations to the leadership, officers, and members of the Internal Security Forces on the occasion of their founding anniversary, highlighting the significant role they play alongside other military and security forces in bearing the honorable and heavy responsibility of protecting citizens, safeguarding the nation, and reinforcing the rule of law.
The president stated, "In the harshest and most severe circumstances, the men of the Internal Security Forces have proven, alongside their military comrades, to be a strong barrier standing between the Lebanese people and chaos, and between the country and collapse. They have endured what many could not bear, stood firm where resilience was a rare virtue, and continued fulfilling their duty when the nation most needed their loyalty and dedication."
President Aoun paid tribute to the souls of the martyrs who fell in the fields of honor and duty, describing their pure blood as the fertilizer for the state's growth and an everlasting mark in Lebanon's memory.
He added, "The state we aspire to is one where the rule of law prevails, militias are absent, citizens' rights are respected, and the Internal Security Forces serve as its strong shield and safe refuge. Therefore, I call on the members of the Internal Security Forces to continue their path with the same spirit they have been known for: a spirit of sacrifice, loyalty, and prioritizing the homeland above all else."
