The "Al-Nashra" correspondent in the Bekaa Valley reported that the town of Hadath Baalbek witnessed a strange incident on Sunday, November 1, 2026, which provoked condemnation from residents. Several worshippers near the town cemetery were surprised to find three open graves with clear signs of tampering with the coffins inside.

Immediately, residents alerted the security forces, who arrived at the scene and imposed a security cordon. They have begun preliminary investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify the perpetrators and their motives.

No official statement has been issued so far clarifying whether the incident was motivated by theft, vandalism, or sorcery practices, while local community leaders demanded that security forces intensify efforts to pursue those who violated the sanctity of the dead.
