Subcommittee Reviews Appointment and Promotion Conditions for Lebanese University Faculty

The subcommittee derived from the National Education, Higher Education, and Culture Committee held a session at eleven in the morning, chaired by MP Ashraf Baydoun, with MPs Edgar Traboulsi, Bilal Al-Hashimi, and Adnan Traboulsi in attendance.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Bassam Badran, President of the Lebanese University, and Dr. Adnan Al-Amin, representative of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, to follow up on the review of the draft law included in Decree No. 2578 concerning the general conditions for appointment and promotion of teaching staff at the Lebanese University.

The subcommittee began studying the draft law and will continue its examination in subsequent sessions.
