Three Dairy Factories Closed for Using Palm Oil Against Health Standards
The Internal Security Forces closed three unlicensed dairy and cheese factories for using palm oil in violation of health regulations.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
As part of ongoing monitoring by the Financial Crimes and Money Laundering Bureau within the Judicial Police Unit to pursue violations related to food safety and consumer protection, and continuing measures against unlicensed dairy and cheese manufacturing plants that fail to meet health standards, officers from the bureau, accompanied by representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, conducted inspections of several dairy and cheese factories in the Qaraoun area.
The inspection revealed that two factories were using palm oils in the production of dairy and cheese products, contrary to the approved standards and conditions.
Consequently, these two factories were sealed with red wax, and legal measures were taken against those responsible under the supervision of the competent judiciary. Investigations are ongoing to clarify all circumstances and take appropriate measures.
In a related inspection, bureau officers examined another dairy and cheese manufacturing plant in Aramoun, where it was found that palm oils were also used in violation of the approved health standards. This factory was likewise sealed with red wax, and legal action was taken against the responsible parties.
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces affirms its continued commitment to pursuing violations that affect public health and food safety, and to taking the necessary legal actions against offenders.
