Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the Truth Social platform that he had a highly productive phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, during which Netanyahu confirmed that no troops would be sent to Beirut and that any forces already en route had been returned.
Trump also noted that, through senior representatives, a very positive call was held with Hezbollah, resulting in an agreement to cease fire, with Israel agreeing not to attack Hezbollah and Hezbollah agreeing not to attack Israel.
