Two Ambassadors from One Country in Lebanon

The new ambassador of Belgium to Syria will begin her duties in the coming days, but from an office in the Azariya building in Beirut, making Belgium have two ambassadors working from Lebanon.

It should be noted that over the past years Belgium has managed its consular affairs in Syria through its embassy in Beirut, and notably this arrangement has not changed despite the change of government in Damascus.
