Two Palestinians Sneak Into Israeli Military Sites Along Gaza Border Undetected (Video)
Two unusual incidents occurred near the Gaza border, with Palestinians infiltrating Israeli military sites undetected. In one case, a man advanced hundreds of meters toward troops without being spotted, captured on video crossing the yellow line and moving past military vehicles.
Israeli media outlets revealed details of two "unusual" events that took place in the border areas of the Gaza Strip, one involving an individual infiltrating an Israeli military base and bypassing all the fortifications and obstacles built by the army.
The Israeli Channel 12 reported: "A person managed to advance hundreds of meters toward the forces without being detected, appearing in a video after crossing the yellow line and moving toward the site, passing between military vehicles present at the location and continuing toward the support position, without the forces noticing him."
According to the video, the soldier guarding the site noticed unusual movement, looked toward the Palestinian, and fired at him, but the individual managed to escape.
According to the channel, in a separate incident, a Palestinian approached an Israeli military site after bypassing surveillance and protective measures.
A security official told the Israeli channel: "When someone is allowed to move freely near the yellow line, it's clear they will reach the Israeli forces, and ultimately, we will pay a heavy price for that."
The outlet noted that the Israeli military estimates these incidents were likely an attempt by Hamas to test the army's new defense line using unarmed elements, and to assess troop deployment and readiness for a potential attack on a forward position.
A military spokesperson announced an investigation into these incidents and lessons learned, noting that no military site was breached in either case.
He said, "In the first incident, procedures for apprehending the suspect were followed, and he was eventually caught and taken for questioning. In the second incident, the suspect was neutralized before reaching the site."
