Lebanese Foreign Minister welcomes UN ESCWA Deputy Secretary-General, who affirms commitment to aid Lebanon’s reform and development efforts.
Lebanese Foreign Minister and Expatriates Affairs Yusuf Reggi posted on the X platform that he welcomed Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, the newly appointed Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), currently assigned to Lebanon.
He extended his wishes for success in her new responsibilities.
Dr. Al-Mashat expressed her appreciation for Lebanon’s support of ESCWA and confirmed her commitment to collaborate with Lebanese authorities to contribute to the advancement of reform, development, and addressing current economic and social challenges.
