U.S. Embassy: Delivered 16 Million Rounds of Ammunition to Lebanese Army

The U.S. Embassy in Beirut announced the delivery of 16 million rounds of ammunition to the Lebanese Armed Forces, stating that this shipment is part of continuous U.S. support for the army.

The embassy noted that the United States has provided over $800 million in military aid to the Lebanese Armed Forces over the past six years, aiming to enhance its long-term readiness and capabilities.

It added that this support aims to bolster Lebanon’s sovereignty, secure its borders, counter internal threats, and disrupt "terrorist activities," reaffirming continued U.S. backing for the Lebanese government and military in strengthening state authority, protecting civilians, and creating conditions for lasting peace and stability.
