Video: Israeli Announcement Regarding Ali al-Taher Heights!
Israel's military announced the completion of clearing Hezbollah's underground infrastructure at Ali al-Taher Heights, with ongoing efforts to neutralize remaining threats.
The Israeli army spokesperson, Ila Wawaya, stated that "the Israeli army has completed cleansing the underground infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in the Ali al-Taher Heights and is now working on neutralizing it."
Wawaya said via the platform "X": "In recent weeks, the 36th Brigade forces have been clearing two underground routes in the Ali al-Taher Heights area, located within the security zone. They have achieved operational control over the elevated terrain both above and below ground, and cleared the area of infiltrators, some of whom were eliminated while others fled the region."
She added: "The activity aimed at neutralizing the underground infrastructure, already cleansed of infiltrators, continues. After this phase concludes, the Israeli army will redeploy defensively based on the current situation assessment."
She continued: "The infiltrators operating within the underground infrastructure carried out terrorist plans against Israel and its army. Following operations conducted along these routes in recent weeks, the capability to execute terrorist plots against Israeli civilians and the Israeli military originating from these routes has been neutralized. Inside the underground infrastructure, command rooms, combat facilities, generator rooms, living quarters, and shower and kitchen facilities were discovered, enabling the infiltrators to conduct prolonged combat operations and remain in place for extended periods. This strategic infrastructure was built over two decades and funded and planned by the Iranian regime."
She concluded: "The Israeli army continues its operations to clear the security zone in southern Lebanon and will not allow Hezbollah to advance terrorist plans against it. Any attempt by Hezbollah to carry out activities against the Israeli army will be met with force, while the army remains committed to the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon."
