What Did the Minister of Justice Reveal About the Preliminary Judgment in the Port Explosion Case?

Minister of Justice Adel Najjar wrote on the platform "X": "In the Beirut port explosion case, the investigating judge, Judge Tariq Bitar, has concluded his investigations and referred the file to the General Prosecution for its review, paving the way for completing the process and reaching the preliminary judgment."

He added: "We expect this stage to be completed by October or at the end of it, a crucial step toward uncovering the truth and achieving justice in one of the most painful cases for Lebanese people. The independence of the judiciary and respect for legal procedures are the guarantees for reaching the truth and holding accountable those responsible."
