Will Hezbollah Open an Additional Front on Behalf of Iran?
Israeli reports suggest Hezbollah may escalate border tensions to signal support for Iran, while Israeli forces conduct incursions and construction in southern Lebanon.

Israeli website “Walla” reported that “Hezbollah may open an additional front in the event of a confrontation with Iran, as it escalates friction with the Israeli army on the border with the aim of sending a message on behalf of Iran.”
The site noted that “the Israeli security establishment believes that ‘the Party’ has not yet recovered despite its efforts to rebuild capabilities.”
Earlier, an Israeli army force advanced toward the water reservoir of the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh, coinciding with a sweeping operation using machine guns directed at the town.
At the same time, the “National News Agency” reported an Israeli drone flying over the area where the Lebanese Army is operating.
The Israeli army also fired heavily toward Wadi Shaba and conducted machine-gun sweeps along the Al-Sadana axis.
Mukhtar of Shaba village, Muhammad Qasim Nabaa, revealed Israeli movements and works in the outskirts of the village, located at the foot of Mount Hermon, noting that “for about 15 days, the Israeli enemy, in two phases, cut a road from southeast of Shaba, specifically from the gate of the Shebaa Farms area, known as Barakat al-Naqar, between Mount Sadana and Mount Wadi Hawratha, towards Wadi Shaba.”
Nabaa pointed out, in an interview with “Al-Tra Sound,” that the newly created road inside Lebanese territory extends for approximately two kilometers and connects to the Shaba-Bustan road, which residents use to access their lands.
Nabaa recounted that “the Israeli army conducts these works every Saturday, using six bulldozers accompanied by two tanks for protection, which withdraw in the evening to fixed Israeli points in the Sadana heights.”
