David Beckham will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but his son Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly not attending the ceremony amid family tensions.

David Beckham is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Friday in Los Angeles, recognizing his impact on sports, entertainment, and popular culture. The former England captain will attend the event with his wife, Victoria Beckham, while actor Tom Cruise is also expected to participate in the celebration.
Despite residing nearby in Beverly Hills, Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly not planning to attend his father's Walk of Fame ceremony. Sources indicate that Brooklyn has been estranged from his parents for over a year and has had minimal contact with them during that time. The situation may be further complicated by his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
One insider stated, “Even if he did want to see them at the Walk of Fame, Nicola would not take too kindly to it.” Another source added, “Two things can be true; Nicola can be difficult, and Brooklyn does not want to see his parents.”
The award highlights Beckham’s role in promoting soccer in the United States, particularly as the country hosts the FIFA World Cup. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez noted that Beckham’s efforts to elevate the sport’s profile in America make the honor particularly appropriate.
Reports have noted increasing public tension within the Beckham family in recent years. The discord reportedly intensified during David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations in London, which Brooklyn and Nicola attended but chose not to join the family event.
