France Diverts Flight Due to Bomb Threat Amid Series of European Alerts
The French government announced the diversion of a Dublin-Rome flight due to a bomb threat, part of a wider wave of alerts across Europe.

The French government announced the diversion of a flight between Dublin and Rome due to a bomb threat.
It is worth noting that bomb threats on seven flights in Europe last Tuesday, November 3, caused a plane to be diverted, an airport to temporarily close, and explosive ordnance disposal teams to be deployed. Italian fighter jets escorted one flight until it landed in Rome, but no explosives were found in the inspected aircraft.
The warnings included flights bound for Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, and Italy, following a similar incident last Monday, November 2, when a plane traveling from London to Sofia was forced to land in Budapest. Authorities have not identified the responsible party or confirmed any link between the reports.
