'It Will Carry Secrets No One Has Heard Of' — Melania Trump Launches New Documentary Series

First Lady Melania Trump announced a new documentary series about her life, set to debut this year with content radically different from her previous documentary, which faced widespread criticism.

The announcement came during Trump’s appearance on the program 'Fox & Friends,' ahead of her attendance at the New York Stock Exchange opening bell ceremony, where she described the new project as closer to an intimate personal conversation, highlighting that it includes new material and answers to questions never before asked by the public, based on conversations the director had with her during travel and filming periods.

This project follows the documentary directed by Brett Ratner, released last January, which grossed $16.7 million worldwide despite harsh criticism from critics who labeled it shallow and soulless.

Ratner previously hinted at continuing the saga through an Instagram post on August 11, announcing the return of the project with two new episodes of the documentary series.

The first film focused on the twenty days preceding President Trump’s inauguration in 2025, promising behind-the-scenes insights into critical meetings and private conversations during the presidential family’s transition to the White House.

However, critic Amy Nicholson of the 'Los Angeles Times' argued the film failed to present a positive image, noting that Melania paid $40 million for production rights, plus an additional $35 million allocated for marketing and promotion.

It should be noted that the film 'Melania' was Brett Ratner’s first project since being accused of sexual assault by six women in 2017, and his photos appeared in the Epstein files, which were declassified in February 2026, sparking further controversy over the credibility and quality of works associated with him.
