Lady Gaga, 40, has welcomed her first child with Michael Polansky, her longtime partner, sources told Page Six in a report published on September 12, 2026.

The singer—winner of both an Academy Award and multiple Grammy Awards—has long been affectionately dubbed “Mother Monster” by fans. That moniker now carries new, literal significance following the confirmed arrival of the couple’s infant.

Rumors of a recent marriage between Gaga and Polansky surfaced days before the birth report, though neither ceremony nor marital status has been officially confirmed. According to the same sources cited by Page Six, the pair “recently welcomed their first child together.”

No details about the baby are known as of this time

Page Six reports no information regarding the infant’s name, sex, or date of birth. The outlet did publish photographs showing Gaga holding a newborn close to her chest during a walk in Northern California.

Gaga’s most recent public appearances occurred four weeks prior to the report’s publication. A fan captured a selfie with her at that time. She walked the red carpet on May 15 for the release of her film MAYHEM Requiem and appeared again on April 20 for the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2, in which she made a cameo appearance.

Gaga hinted at motherhood in an interview last year

In an October 2025 episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Gaga described motherhood as her “next starring role.”

She stated: “I would like to do many things. All of these things are open. But, what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”

Congrats to the happy family!
