Artist Mohamed Ramadan revealed that his film 'Asad' has been subjected to illegal practices in cinemas, including attempts to force audiences to watch competing films, particularly '7Dogs'.

Artist Mohamed Ramadan revealed that his film 'Asad' has been subjected to illegal practices inside cinema screening halls, pointing to attempts to force audiences to watch competing films, especially the film '7Dogs'.
Ramadan posted a video on his official Facebook account in which he thanked his audience for their awareness in confronting what he described as 'conspiracies happening behind the scenes'.
Ramadan said addressing his audience: 'My dear loved ones, when your voice became loud and you exposed the conspiracies and things happening in cinemas from harassment, and from forcing you to enter films.. you entered my film and filmed from inside my film hall with tickets bearing the names of other films'.
He added that the audience's stance does not only protect his film, but protects the entire artistic system from corruption, expressing his confidence in the move of the competent authorities after their voice rose.
Ramadan expressed his astonishment at the continuation of these practices until now, describing the matter as exceeding normal competition into what resembles a 'systematic war'. He demanded an official response from the Ministry of Culture or the relevant authorities saying: 'What is happening with my audience? And what is happening with the film?'
In a related context, Ramadan pointed to the extent of popular sympathy with his film, showcasing images of handmade products bearing the 'Asad' poster as an expression of solidarity, affirming that his audience is the reason for his success.
For his part, Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, intervened to deny rumors that were raised about the existence of disputes between the crew of the film 'Asad' and other production parties, affirming the support of the Saudi Film Fund for the film.
Al-Sheikh wrote on his official page: 'The film Asad is beautiful and a great advancement in this type of films, and star Mohamed Ramadan is a great actor and in the future if there is cooperation in series and films I expect great success for them.. by the way, the Film Fund invested 30% of the film meaning they are partners'.
Mohamed Ramadan quickly responded to these statements, closing the door to any interpretations or incidents saying: 'My beloved Abu Nasser and congratulations on the success of 7Dogs.. everything that was said is rumors.. Asad and 7Dogs are siblings'.
