One Condition for Johnny Depp to Return to 'Pirates of the Caribbean 6'

Global star Johnny Depp has opened the door to the possibility of returning to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film franchise.

During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," on the sidelines of his promotional tour for his new film "Ebenezer," Johnny Depp discussed the motivation that might lead him to agree to participate in the sixth installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, explaining that his desire is linked to providing a better conclusion for the cinematic work.

Johnny Depp's condition for returning to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series
The global star said: "If things in the script and production are exactly where they should be to crown the end of the series, then the only participation I truly and sincerely want is to give the series a better ending worthy of it."

These statements come after a previous stance taken by Depp during his famous trial, in which he confirmed that he would not cooperate again with "Disney," making his recent talk about the possibility of returning to the character of Jack Sparrow a notable development in his position regarding the series.

A deep friendship with the film's producer
In addition to his desire to provide a suitable cinematic farewell for the character of Captain Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp indicated that his relationship with the series' producer Jerry Bruckheimer represents a fundamental motivation for the possibility of his return, emphasizing the strength of the friendship and trust between them.

The star, who is 63 years old, clarified the extent of his appreciation for Bruckheimer, saying: "I am ready to go and work with Bruckheimer tomorrow on anything; it doesn't matter what the project is. If it involves Jerry, I trust him completely, as we share a deep and longstanding friendship."

The producer's stance and behind-the-scenes preparations for the sixth part
Johnny Depp's statements align with what producer Jerry Bruckheimer previously announced in media interviews, confirming actual discussions with the global star regarding his return to the series, noting that work on writing the screenplay is still ongoing, aiming to reach a formula that gains acceptance from the relevant parties.

Despite the artistic criticisms faced by the later installments of the series, Depp's talk about his desire to give the work a better ending reopens the possibility of his participation in the sixth part, paving the way for writing a new chapter for the character associated with his name, which is considered one of the most prominent roles in Hollywood cinema history.
