Trump: Europe Is Dying
US President Donald Trump stated that Europe is dying while the United States thrives, citing unrest in France and Italy as evidence.

US President Donald Trump considered that Europe is dying while the United States thrives.
Trump said in a statement to the "Fox News" television channel: "Look at Europe, it is dying... Just look at what is happening in France and Italy, they may not even be able to survive."
He added that the United States is thriving, affirming: "We want this prosperity to continue."
Protests began in France in September with demonstrations organized by students who expressed their dissatisfaction with the shortage of teachers and the density of study schedules. Later, labor unions and members of the "Yellow Vests" movement joined these protests, objecting to the decline in purchasing power and rising fuel prices.
In the wake of these events in France, a new wave of protests emerged in Italy in mid-October.
It is worth noting that large-scale demonstrations have been taking place in Italy for two years, directed against government policies and the European Union.
