Egyptian singer Sherine Abd al-Wahab has initiated legal action against the individual previously responsible for managing her official social media accounts.
According to her lawyer, Yasser Qantoush, the lawsuit was filed following accusations that the former manager took control of the artist’s pages and profited from the financial returns generated through their management, while also refusing to return the accounts.
Qantoush stated that the legal proceedings aim to compel the former page manager to provide a full accounting of all revenues and profits earned during the relevant period.
The demands also include the repayment of owed financial amounts and the initiation of appropriate legal measures concerning the unauthorized takeover of the official accounts.
