Trump says he will skip his son’s wedding
Donald Trump said he will not attend his eldest son Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding to Bettina Anderson, citing government-related circumstances and his need to stay in Washington.

President Donald Trump said he will not attend the wedding of his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., to Bettina Anderson, citing what he described as “government-related circumstances” and the need to remain in Washington at this stage.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Although I very much wanted to be with my son Don Jr. and his future wife Bettina, government-related circumstances and my love for the United States do not allow me to do so”.
He added: “I feel it is important for me to stay at the White House during this important period”.
Trump’s remarks came as his administration continued diplomatic talks with Iran through Pakistani mediation, with indications of a possible return to military escalation if the negotiations fail.
Earlier, Trump told reporters: “I have a file called Iran and other things”.
According to CNN, the wedding was due to take place early next week on one of the Bahamas islands, while official documents showed that Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson had already legally married.
