What’s Karoline Leavitt doing now that she’s left the White House?

The 29-year-old former White House Press Secretary revealed on Instagram that she and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, are renovating their recently purchased Florida property. She disclosed the project through weekend posts and a Sunday poll inviting followers to track the progress.

Renovation plans and lifestyle shift

According to The Daily Beast, Leavitt and Riccio acquired the Florida residence following her departure from the White House in August. She confirmed the purchase and renovation intentions across multiple Instagram stories and feed

posts.

She referenced the new home while reviewing a baby stroller, writing: “So many questions about our double stroller! I love the Nuna, but we needed another stroller for our Florida home.” She noted the family would occupy the property for only a few months annually and opted for a less expensive Amazon-sourced model.

On Sunday, she posted a photo showing active construction at the site alongside a question: “We are renovating our place in Florida. Would you like to follow along?” A poll accompanied the post.

Post-White House transition and family priorities

Leavitt left her role after 20 months to focus on her two children, son Niko and daughter Viviana. In her final Fox and Friends interview, she stated: “They’re just at a critical time in their life when they need their mom home a little bit more.”

Her primary residence remains in New Hampshire, where she and Riccio are based. Riccio, 61, works as a property developer and reportedly manages a portfolio of approximately 15 properties. The couple first met in 2022 at a restaurant he owned while Leavitt campaigned for Congress.

Professional background and ongoing political ties

Prior to serving as White House Press Secretary, Leavitt worked as an assistant press secretary during Trump’s first administration. She also held positions as communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik and as spokeswoman for Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC.

She will continue as an outside adviser to Trump and resume her role at MAGA Inc. going forward.
