Circulation of arrest warrant... Has "Dr. Food" left Lebanon?

Judicial sources reported to MTV that an arrest warrant for George Deeb, known as "Dr. Food," has been circulated to security agencies, meaning it will be executed immediately upon his arrest and he will be handed over to the judiciary.

The sources suggested that he has not left Lebanese territory, especially since the investigating judge had previously issued a decision banning his travel in the past months, before his file was transferred to the criminal court, and thus these legal procedures hinder his ability to leave the country.

The sources stated that the verdict issued against him is a default judgment because he did not appear before the judiciary, and as soon as he surrenders himself, he will be retried in person before the competent judicial authorities.
