Netflix has renewed The Hunting Wives for a third season, one month before its second season is set to premiere on November 26.

The streaming giant confirmed the continuation of its global hit series earlier than anticipated. This decision secures the show's future well ahead of its next scheduled release date.
Season 3 of The Hunting Wives has been officially greenlit, arriving one month prior to the Season 2 debut on November 26. The upcoming third installment will consist of eight episodes. Specifics regarding the cast lineup and the exact release timeline remain undisclosed at this stage.
Rebecca Cutter, the creator behind the series, addressed the renewal in a recent statement. She expressed enthusiasm about returning to the fictional town of Maple Brook. Cutter promised that viewers finishing Season 2 would be eager to see what unfolds next. She warned audiences to prepare for a narrative that becomes "even more scandalous and twisted" in the new season.
The drama adapts May Cobb’s novel of the same name. Its first season launched on July 21, 2025. The storyline centers on Sophie, who relocates with her family to Maple Brook in East Texas. There, she encounters Margo, a socialite who introduces her to an elite clique known as the “Hunting Wives.” This group offers glamour but also carries significant danger.
Sophie’s involvement deepens into a complex web of secrets and obsessions. The tone shifts grimly when a teenage girl is discovered dead in the woods, a location frequently visited by the women in the group.
The thriller achieved substantial success on streaming platforms. Critics highlighted the lead performances by Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman. Data indicates the inaugural season ranked as the most-viewed streaming series within the United States. It maintained a position in Nielsen’s top 10 chart for streaming originals for six consecutive weeks.
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, anticipation builds for Season 2. Cutter suggested fans should brace for another major cliffhanger conclusion. In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, actor Brittany Snow indicated that a significant character death awaits in the upcoming episodes.
