Lebanon to Host First-Ever FIP Promises Tournament in October 2026

Lebanon is set to stage the FIP Promises tournament for the first time in its history, marking a milestone for national padel development. The event, sanctioned by the International Padel Federation (FIP), will take place from 1 to 4 October 2026 on the courts of Padel House in Zalka.

The significance of Lebanon’s FIP debut

The announcement followed a meeting between Mohammad Al-Yemen, President of the Lebanese Padel Federation, and the President of the International Padel Federation. The discussion underscored deepening institutional cooperation and affirmed growing international confidence in Lebanon’s capacity to host elite padel competitions.

This tournament represents the first official FIP-sanctioned event ever held in Lebanon. It offers local players direct access to high-level international competition on home soil, enabling them to compete against foreign athletes without leaving the country.

Development goals for Lebanese padel

Organizers stated that the tournament forms part of a broader strategy to elevate the standard of emerging Lebanese talent. By exposing domestic players to global competition early, the federation aims to cultivate a new generation capable of representing Lebanon at future international championships.

The Lebanese Padel Federation extended its gratitude to the International Padel Federation for entrusting Lebanon with hosting rights. It also acknowledged United Petroleum, Padel House, and all sponsors, partners, and contributors involved in organizing the event.
