Al-Nassr club's 1-3 loss to its host Al-Qadsiah, in the thirty-first round of the Saudi Roshen League, led to a significant shift in the title race calculations three rounds before the end of the competition.
Al-Nassr club currently tops the standings with 79 points, 5 points ahead of Al-Hilal club, which is in second place. However, Al-Hilal has an advantage: it has a postponed match against Al-Khaleej team, which will be held next Tuesday evening, giving them an opportunity to reduce the point difference.
Al-Hilal now needs to win its four remaining league matches to officially secure the title for itself, regardless of the results of its rival Al-Nassr. Al-Hilal winning all its upcoming matches guarantees it the top spot, especially with the direct confrontation between the two giants approaching.
Al-Hilal awaits an intense schedule of matches that will determine the fate of the league, as follows:
Next Tuesday: Al-Khaleej match (postponed match from Round 28).
May 12: Capital Derby against Al-Nassr Club.
May 16: Hosting NEOM team.
May 21: Concluding the journey with an away match against Al-Fayha.
