Al Hilal announced that their captain Salem Al-Dawsari has undergone a successful knee surgery in Finland under specialist supervision.

Al Hilal Saudi Club confirmed that their first-team football captain, Salem Al-Dawsari, underwent a successful knee surgery.
The club stated on its official "X" platform account that Al-Dawsari had the operation on his injured knee tendon on Tuesday morning in Finland, conducted under the care of a specialized doctor.
Al Hilal added that Salem Al-Dawsari is scheduled to begin his therapeutic and rehabilitation program at a specialized medical center, supervised by the team's medical staff.
Al-Dawsari, aged 34, recently completed his participation with the Saudi national team at the 2026 World Cup finals. The team did not advance beyond the group stage, finishing fourth with two points, narrowly missing out due to goal difference behind Uruguay, who placed third.
During the previous season, Al-Dawsari played in 26 matches for Al Hilal, scoring 8 goals and providing 10 assists.
