Leaked reports indicate Apple will release its next-generation M6 chip this fall, debuting in the MacBook Ultra and other new products.

Leaked information reveals that Apple plans to introduce its next-generation M6 chip this fall, with several new products expected to receive it first, including the MacBook Ultra. Rumors suggest this model will be the largest Mac announcement from Apple this season.
According to the website 9to5mac, the MacBook Ultra is anticipated to be the new name for Apple's high-end model featuring a touchscreen, OLED display, and Dynamic Island technology. Initially, this device was expected to launch as a new MacBook Pro, but multiple reliable leakers have indicated that the first MacBook Ultra is forthcoming.
The MacBook Ultra will be equipped with chips from the M6 family. Although the exact chip variants have not yet been disclosed, M6 Pro and M6 Max options might be available at launch.
If Apple proceeds with the "MacBook Ultra" branding and retains the MacBook Pro as a separate line, the M6, M6 Pro, and M6 Max chips could debut simultaneously in updated MacBook Pro models.
No new iPad Pro model is expected this year, so the most likely products to receive the new chips are those that currently lack the M5 chip, such as the iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Studio.
