China Launches 10 Communications Satellites on ChouChiu-2E Rocket

China carried out a successful orbital launch on Tuesday, deploying 10 communications satellites using a ChouChiu-2E Y7 rocket. The mission lifted off from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone in northwestern China.

First Multi-Satellite Deployment for ChouChiu-2 Series

The rocket delivered all 10 satellites into their pre-determined orbits. Mission controllers declared the full test launch a success.

This operation marks the first large-scale, multi-satellite deployment conducted by the ChouChiu-2 rocket series. It strengthens the commercial launch service provider’s capacity to deliver routine commercial launch services.
