Performance benchmarks revealed
The device is confirmed to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 processor. Early performance data from Geekbench 7 indicates strong results for the model, identified as Nubia NX819J. Single-core tests recorded 3,677 points, while multi-core scores reached 12,679. These figures place the handset among the highest-performing devices using this chipset, though they represent pre-release metrics.
Design and cooling upgrades
Red Magic promises enhanced cooling systems designed to maintain performance during long gaming sessions. Specific architectural details of the thermal solution have not been released. The software experience will also see updates for daily usage. Compared to the previous Red Magic 11 Pro+, the new model is described as lighter, thinner, and narrower. It features more rounded corners and a reduced display bezel, shrinking from 1.25 mm to 0.96 mm. The front camera remains under-display to prevent visible cutouts.
Battery specs and reservation perks
Leaked specifications suggest an 8,400 mAh battery capacity. Wired charging is reported at 120W, with wireless charging supported at 80W. These power-related figures have not yet received official confirmation. In China, a 100-yuan deposit secures promotional benefits valued by Red Magic at up to 4,300 yuan. Potential incentives include a Red Magic Cooler 8 Pro, gaming perks, cashback options, and trade-in deals. Final specifications and pricing will be announced at the October 15 event.
