Around 20 Israeli vehicles infiltrated Syria's southern Daraa governorate today, Tuesday, coinciding with Israeli drone overflights, before the infiltrating forces withdrew from the area.
The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the Israeli army carried out an infiltration in the village of Ma'ariya in the Yarmouk Basin area in the western Daraa countryside, noting that the infiltrating force roamed the village streets amidst drone overflights.
Yesterday, Monday, Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said that the army is working to establish a new security reality in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon, referring to the designation of what he called "advanced defense zones" opposite Israeli areas on several fronts.
Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa had said, in a previous interview with Anadolu Agency, that negotiations with Israel have not reached a dead end, but they are proceeding with great difficulty due to its insistence on being present in Syrian territories.
