After Bomb Threats, Media Institution Premises in Ireland Evacuated
Staff at several Irish media organizations were evacuated on Friday following bomb threats amid a wave of false reports across Europe.

Staff members at a number of Irish media institutions were evacuated today, Friday, after receiving bomb threats, according to local media reports.
The threats came amid a wave of false bomb reports across Europe, which mostly targeted commercial flights.
Police deployed to the headquarters of the Irish national broadcasting authority (RTE) in Dublin.
The broadcasting authority stated on its website that RTE buildings were evacuated following a bomb threat.
Employees were also evacuated from the offices of the "Irish Independent" newspaper, radio stations "News Talk" and "Today FM," and the television channel "Virgin Media," according to reports.
These email threats followed a wave of false bomb reports targeting dozens of flights across Europe on Thursday and Friday, forcing some aircraft to make unscheduled landings and prompting fighter jets to escort civilian flights.
Authorities have not yet attributed responsibility for the threats, which come ahead of high-level European Union meetings in Dublin next week.
