Bahrain calls on Iran to immediately stop unprovoked attacks, open the Strait of Hormuz without restrictions, and comply with international resolutions.

Bahrain has called on Iran to immediately halt its unjustified attacks on regional countries and to pursue peace, demanding the full and unrestricted opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the renewed Iranian assaults on Bahrain and Kuwait, according to the Bahrain News Agency.
In the early hours of Saturday, seven ballistic missiles were launched towards the territories of Bahrain and Kuwait. The Bahraini Foreign Ministry confirmed that these missiles were successfully intercepted, emphasizing the vigilance and full readiness of the armed forces in both countries to confront any aggression.
The ministry stated, "This blatant attack constitutes a gross violation of the sovereignty of both countries and a flagrant breach of the United Nations Charter and international norms, as well as a continued violation of international legitimacy resolutions."
Highlighting that the attacks targeted civilian sites, Bahrain rejected the use of missiles and drones as a means to establish security or maintain stability, warning against the planting of mines.
The ministry urged Tehran to immediately cease such attacks and comply with Security Council resolutions. It also called for the disclosure of maritime mine locations, cooperation in their removal, and the establishment of a safe humanitarian corridor to ensure the secure passage of civilian vessels.
Additionally, Bahrain demanded the safe departure of more than twenty thousand stranded sailors and their secure return to their families.
