Fierce clashes erupted in Inkhil, Daraa countryside, Syria, after a security raid targeting a house believed to harbor wanted individuals. One suspect was neutralized, two others injured, and the situation remains under control.

Clashes broke out in the city of "Inkhil" in northern Daraa countryside, Syria, between armed fighters and security forces following a raid conducted by elements of the General Security on a house believed to be harboring wanted individuals.
Syrian news channel "Al-Ikhbariyya" reported that internal security forces in Daraa seized a quantity of weapons during operations targeting wanted individuals in the city of "Inkhil" in the province.
The channel quoted an official statement saying, "During a campaign carried out by internal security forces to apprehend wanted individuals from the Criminal Investigation Branch in the city of Inkhil, Daraa province, clashes erupted after the suspects opened fire and targeted a security vehicle with a rocket-propelled grenade, causing it to catch fire and injuring two security personnel."
According to the statement, the clashes resulted in the neutralization of one wanted individual and injuries to two others, while internal security forces managed to regain control of the situation and continue their operations to apprehend the remaining suspects.
Subsequently, Syrian security announced full control over the situation in the city of "Inkhil" following the clashes, which led to the neutralization of one suspect and injuries to two others, while efforts to capture the remaining wanted individuals continue.
Syrian sources reported the death of Muhammad Amjad al-Wadi due to injuries sustained during the clash. He is the brother of Behjat al-Wadi, the main wanted individual targeted in the raid along with others.
